Janette smith-dacosta

Born, raised, and still living in Hackney Janette was one of the coaches who were instrumental in the development of Hackney Tennis. She now works as a PE coordinator at St.Pauls with St Michaels’ school but still maintains her interest in the club by coaching weekend junior sessions and holidays camps at London Fields.

Her own sporting career was diverse but Volleyball became her main focus. She played for England many times as well as leading the team as captain.
