Allan bairstow

Allan is a level 3 Accredited + coach who came late to the game but rediscovered the joy of endless hours playing (un-coached) tennis as a child.  Allan previously had his own retail business in the film industry which has helped him to deal with people of all ages and types. He likes coaching beginners and improvers of all ages and is keen to get people from diverse backgrounds to play tennis, including children with learning disabilities at Stormont School, Hackney Downs.

 In 2020 he completed a Diploma from Modern Tennis International- a method based on coach Oscar Wegner’s Modern Tennis Methodology -condensing the game (as pros play it)  into simple, easy to understand principles with the aim of coaching proficiency in tennis as quickly as possible whilst maximizing the fun of the game.
